On November 1,2018, the central editorial office officially approved the establishment of the China Academy of Industrial Internet Research ("the Federation of Industry and Technology Institutes")(No. 105[2018] of the central editorial office) . The ICFTU fully implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important directive on "deepening the implementation of the strategy for innovative development of the Industrial Internet, " and implemented the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to accelerate the construction of new industrial internet infrastructure, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China will implement the spirit of the Industrial Internet series of documents, and conduct research on Industrial Internet related development strategies, plans, policies and standards, networks, platforms, security systems, and international exchanges and cooperation. It aims to become a world-renowned think tank, an important source of technological innovation, an important support for government regulation, an important driving force for enterprise empowerment, an important base for top talent and an important platform for international cooperation in the field of industrial internet.
